LINDA WEIGUM, 45, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2017, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND, surrounded by her loved ones. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CST on Friday, December 1, 2017, at the Golden Valley Community Center with Pastor Tom Olson officiating. Burial will follow at the St. John’s Wittenburg Cemetery, Zap, ND. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM CST on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.

Linda was born February 28, 1972, in Tucson, AZ, to Ted and Chris (Harrison) VanWinkle. Linda had a beautiful daughter, Chasey, whom she loved dearly. On January 25, 2013, she married her loving husband, Jacob, and together lived in Golden Valley with their pets.

Linda loved cooking, canning, and gardening. She donated most of her canned goods to various benefits and non-profit organizations. She loved to share the jams and jelly she made with all those she loved and expected nothing in return. Linda would offer a place to stay if you had nowhere to go whether she knew you or not and would also offer you a meal if you were hungry. Linda loved to cheer on her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jacob of Golden Valley; daughter, Chasey VanWinkle of Dickinson; step-daughter, Bryleigh Weigum; four grandchildren; three brothers, Kenny VanWinkle of Roswell, NM, Johnny VanWinkle of Giddings, TX, and Robert VanWinkle of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; one step-daughter; and her grandparents, Benjamin E. and Nora E. Harrison.
