MARJEAN BOECKEL, 74 of Beulah, formerly of Bismarck, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at the Knife River Care Center, Beulah.  Services will be held at 1:00 PM CST, Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah with Pastor Daniel Sansot officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday. 

Marjean was born on May 22, 1942, the daughter of Herman and Elizabeth (Wolf) Boeckel at Beulah, ND.  She was raised and educated north of Beulah.  She worked on the family farm for many years.  She began a lifetime of cooking and was well known for her talents as a cook, especially caramel rolls and knoephla soup.  She worked at Pride, Inc. for a time which was a job she loved.  She was known for donating her time in many ways including the Sam McQuade’s Softball tournaments, donating blood and helping at her church.  Marjean knew may songs and loved to sing them proudly.  Her Lord and Savior was very important to her.

She is survived by one son, Jody of West Fargo, ND; seven siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
