Myrna Emily Prawdzik, 91, formerly from Easley, SC, beloved mother of Marty Black, Beulah, ND, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017, at the Knife River Care Center in Beulah. A service will be held at 10:00 AM CDT, Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Beulah, ND, with Rev. Toby Heller officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Myrna was born November 4, 1925, in Erie, PA, to Henry and Cecelia (Lander) Stahlgren. She married Stanley Prawdzik on June 8, 1946. They lived and raised their family in Steubenville, Ohio, and later retired to Picken, SC. Myrna loved traveling the world with her husband, golfing, gardening and needlework. She moved to North Dakota in 2016 to be closer to her daughter. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter Martha “Marty” (Jim) Black of Beulah, ND; son-in-law, Larry Reamer of Clemson, SC; granddaughters, Tara (Kevin) Hutto of Atlanta, GA; Bethany (Mitchell) Mohs of Richfield, MN; Shannon (Jeremy) Schroeder of Bismarck, ND; and Sarah (Tyler) Bring of Savage, MN; and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband, her daughter Christine Reamer, two brothers, Henry Jr. and LeRoy, and a sister, Leila Englert.
