Ruth Dorothy (Boeckel) Hausauer, 85, of Beulah, ND passed away on July 23, 2017 at Knife River Care Center, Beulah. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Beulah with Pastor Aron Utecht officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM CDT on Tuesday at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.

Ruth was born on September 14, 1931 to Herman and Elizabeth (Wolf) Boeckel north of Beulah. She married Carl Hausauer on September 18, 1955 and the couple had two children, Sharon and Ron. Carl passed away on December 17, 1992. Ruth was a very loving and caring person. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and took lots of pictures. She was a very Christian woman who loved the Lord and was ready to go be with Him and her husband in Heaven.

Ruth is survived by her children, Sharon (Perry) Nieuwsma of Beulah and Ron (Carrie) Hausauer of Highlands Ranch, CO; grandchildren, Sara Nieuwsma, Ryan (Amber) Nieuwsma, Tommy (Heather) Onan and Chris Onan; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Addison, Haley, Levi and Brianna; sisters and brothers, Irene Fischer, Janet Morast, Fern Schlender, Fay Horne, Gaylen Boeckel and Gary Boeckel; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Ida Voegele, Pauline Frank, Elsie Opp, Ella Fandrich, Linda Dallman, Viola Martin, Dave Hausauer, Alex Hausauer and Dale Hausauer; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; and family members, Leonard Boeckel, Leona Reub, Marjean Boeckel, Martha Huber, Reine Hausauer, Herb Hausauer, Fred Hausauer and Gary Hausauer.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
