Bernetta Sapp Obituary

BERNETTA ANN SAPP, 45, of Beulah, ND, passed away on March 3, 2019, at Sakakawea Medical Center, Hazen, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Services will be held at 6:00 PM CDT, Monday, March 11, 2019, at the Beulah Congregational Church, Beulah with Pastor Pete Sapp officiating.  Burial will follow at a later date in East Brady, PA.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.

Bernetta was born in Plymouth, Indiana on Nov. 10, 1973, to Bruce and Roberta (Ewing) Weaver.  She was raised and educated various places, graduating from Linganore High School in Frederick, MD.  She married Frank Sapp on May 27, 2001, in James Creek, PA.  Together they served many places in ministries and most recently in Beulah, ND, where they now live.

Bernetta enjoyed being a homemaker and being a Pastor’s wife.  She was also known for her cooking, working with puppets, reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Sapp, Jr.; her children, Bethany, Frankie III and Babs all of Beulah; her parents, Bruce and Roberta Weaver and Claire Sapp; her siblings, Barbetta (Jeff) Moffatt, Bryce (France) Weaver, Bettina Weaver, Bryan (Chrissy) Weaver, Pete (Terri) Sapp; Meg (Randy) Carnahan; 13 nieces and nephews; one great niece.

Bernetta was preceded in death by Frank Sapp, Sr.; a sibling, Tommy Sapp.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Beulah Congregational Church or Sakakawea Hospice.
