Diane (Condon) Livingston

Diane R. Livingston, 62, of Golden Valley, ND passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 29, 2019. Cay Guthmiller will be leading a time of prayer from 2:00 to 4:00 PM CDT on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Diane’s and Curtis’s home, 401 County Road 7 West, Golden Valley, ND 58541.

Diane was born on April 10, 1957 in Lewistown, MT to Robert and Patricia (Best) Condon. She was raised near Lewistown on a small ranch in the mountains. Diane loved people and loved animals. She worked as a vet tech assistant for many years before becoming a self-employed groomer for 25 years, eventually becoming a master groomer.

Diane met her husband, Curtis, almost 30 years ago when she was working as a groomer in Colorado. The two fell in love on their second date and became friends and soulmates from then on. Curtis worked as a construction worker which took the couple from state to state, eventually taking them to North Dakota in 2005. They settled in Golden Valley, where they purchased their first home. Diane became a member of New Life Worship Center.

She greatly enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling with Curtis. The couple enjoyed road trips, never making a plan, just following road signs and a map. Diane was always helping people and rescuing any animal that needed a home. She particularly loved being with her children and grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her husband, Curtis of Golden Valley; two sons, Christopher Awbery of Montana, Josh Awbery of Colorado; one step-daughter, Kitzie Adrian Jackson of Arkansas; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cathy Hones of Idaho and Gail McGuin of Montana; one sister-in-law, Mary Wollard of Arkansas; three brothers-in-law, Perry Livingston, Jr of Louisiana, Charlie Livingston and Billy Livingston both of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her parent-in-law, Perry and Edwina Livingston; her son, Jeremy; her step-daughter, Misty Livingston; and two sisters, Bonnie Best and Brenda Best.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
