Eldora Kilber

Eldora K. Kilber, 64, of Beulah, ND passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at Knife River Care Center, Beulah. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah with Pastor Dennis Ristvedt officiating.

Eldora was born on August 14, 1953 in Hazen, ND to Ervin and Elsie (Reich) Brunmeier. She was raised and educated in Hazen and graduated from Hazen High School in 1971. Eldora attended BSC for two years, receiving her Associates Degree as a legal secretary. On January 18, 1974, Eldora married John Kilber at Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen. Eldora worked in Governor Art Link’s office for a time and later worked for Honeywell until January 1991, when she retired for health reasons. Eldora and John lived in Bismarck, ND their entire married lives until moving to Knife River Care Center in 2014. John passed away in 2015 and Eldora resided there until her passing.

Eldora greatly enjoyed singing and camping, for as long as her health allowed. She also loved gardening and flowers.

She is survived by her sisters, Doris (Gary) Dolan of Great Falls, MT and Dee Briock of Bismarck; her brothers, Don (Ann) Brunmeier of Hazen and Ray (Arlene) Brunmeier of Halliday, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eldora was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Ervin and Elsie; and one brother, Elmer.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
