Emmaline E. CrowsHeart “Red Bear Woman”, age 62, of Savage, Minnesota Journeyed to the Spirit World on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. CDT at Twin Buttes Memorial Hall in North Dakota. A wake service will begin at 5:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, September 19, also at Twin Buttes Memorial Hall.
Burial will be held at Little Owl Cemetery, Twin Buttes.
Emmaline was born on April 8, 1956 in Torrance, California the daughter of Calvin Packineau and Phyllis LittleOwl. She was formerly employed as a phlebotomist in the medical field for 10 years and later worked in dialysis. She has worked since 2006 until present at Mystic Lake Casino.
Emmaline enjoyed beading, dancing at Pow-Wows and traveling.
She is survived by a son: Tom CrowsHeart Jr.; siblings: Fred, Clarine and Kelcey Packineau; nine grandchildren; a niece: Tamara Packineau-Torres; nephews: Freddie Fox, Carter and Louis Brown, Wilfred Lockwood III and Calvin BullHead; other relatives and friends.
Emmaline was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Frank and Debra Packineau.
Honorary casket bearers will be her many close friends and co-workers from Mystic Lake Casino and casket bearers will be Freddie Fox, Stephan Packineau, Calvin BullHead, Mark and Boss LittleOwl and Carter Brown.
