Jody Boeckel, 46, of Fargo, ND, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017, at his home due to natural causes.  Services will be held at 10:00AM CDT, Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah, with Pastor Kent Sperry officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday.  Burial will follow in the Immanuel Baptist Cemetery, Beulah. 

Jody was born on November 28, 1970, in Bismarck, ND.  He was raised and educated in Bismarck, ND, graduating in 1990 from Bismarck High School.  He later attended college at NDSU, Fargo receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and Zoology.  Jody spent many years working in the restaurant business mostly as a manager.  He was always known as a hard worker and most recently had his own sign and graphics business. 

Jody loved exotic cars like Lamborghinis’ and Ferraris’ and also loved to ride motorcycles with his friends and relatives.  He had many friends and loved to visit with just about anyone.  Jody also had a special place in his heart for his pets, Bandit, Riley, and Jazzman. 

He was a religious person who loved to talk and share his spiritual walk with others.  He was baptized on February 24, 2008.

Jody is survived by his aunts, Irene Fischer, Janet Morast, Fern (Melvin) Schlender, Fay (Eddie) Horn; uncles, Gaylen (Carol) Boeckel, Gary (Cleo) Boeckel, Ruby (Al) Emter; a special cousin, Monte Rueb and many other cousins; one special friend, Dawn Magg.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjean Boeckel; grandparents, Herman and Elizabeth Boeckel; aunts, Ruth Hausauer, Leona Rueb; uncles, Leonard Boeckel, Ray Fischer, Carl Hausauer and Ralph Schlender.
