Larry was born on March 22, 1943, to Albert and Linda (Weidner) Keller in Beulah, ND. He met and married Bette Keller from Beulah and together they had four children. Larry was known for his hard work and long hours of labor on the Keller farm in Dodge working cattle, milking cows, spraying and also seeding for their farm and other farmers. He also dabbled in carpentry with his father-in-law, Adam Keller, building houses locally and also worked in New Town building houses.
Larry loved to drive the country side all over to look at crops and loved to shoot the breeze and play the game of pinochle with family and friends or whoever wanted to play.
With all the hard work of spraying and seeding on the farm and being around sunflower dust, Larry’s lungs were greatly affected, ending up with CO-PD.
Larry is survived by his four children, Shane Keller, Sheryl (Dave) Greene, Shari Keller (Dave Bunker) all of Minnesota, Christy (Dave) Weil of Zap; grandchildren, Evan, Tiffany, Jesse, Autumn, Leah and Ashley; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill (Penny) Keller of New Salem, ND; two sisters, Judy Erker of Beulah, Rachel Horning of Zap; numerous nieces and nephews.
