Zeliyah Linder

Zeliyah Linder, 1, of Fargo, ND passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Mahnomen Health Center, Mahnomen, MN. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Twin Buttes Memorial Hall, Twin Buttes, ND. Burial will follow at Twin Buttes Congregational Cemetery.

A wake service will begin at 5:00 PM CDT on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Twin Buttes Memorial Hall.

Zeliyah Jolene Marie Linder was born on January 6, 2018 in Fargo, ND to Destiny Rodriguez and Ezekiel Linder. Zeliyah loved playing outside with her sister, Jaydence or getting into things she's wasn’t supposed to. Zeliyah had to get her way or she would put on a show. She was a shy baby but once she got to know you she was the sweetest baby a person could ever hope to meet. Zeliya always had a smile on her face no matter what. Hearing her laugh made everyone's day.

She was a grandma’s baby and loved being in the kitchen playing with grandma’s pots and pans or trying to help clean.  She slept with grandma every night.

Zeliyah spent most of her days with Auntie Maria. She loved getting into auntie’s stuff just like her mommy. Zeliyah loved being with Auntie Maria all the time, she was always knocking on aunties door while she was doing her homework.

Zeliyah is survived by her mother, Destiny Rodriguez of Fargo ND; her father, Ezekiel Linder of Fargo ND/Twin Buttes; her brother, Isaiah Rodriguez; her sister, Jaydence Rodriguez; her grandma Jolene Short of Ullen, MN; her grandpa, Tino Rodriguez of Fargo, ND; her uncles, Justin Linder of Dickinson, ND, Larry Poitra of Twin Buttes, ND and Forester Middleton of Oklahoma City, OK; her aunts, Maria Peltier of Ullen, MN and Shaquille Linder of Twin Buttes, ND; her cousins, Melvin Jr., Noah, and Thomiah; her great-aunts, Madonna (Martin) of Oklahoma City, OK, Amelia (Vince) Hoffarth of Denver, CO, Karah Beaks of Oklahoma City, OK and Tonya Beaks of Kansas; her great-uncle, Ambrose Whiteman of Bismarck, ND; The Circle Tree Ranch Amity Family; and many other family members, too numerous to mention, but loved just the same.

            She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ella Linder.

            Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
