Adeline (Vetter) Weiand

Adeline (Vetter) Weiand, 80, of Beulah ND passed away peacefully on May 20, 2022, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by those who loved her.  Services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT, Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Beulah with Fr. Tom Grafsgaard officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Benedict’s Cemetery, south of Beulah. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at St Joseph Catholic church, Beulah, ND.

Adeline was born Dec 13, 1941 in a sod house in Winona Township, Linton ND to Valentine & Elizabeth Feist Vetter. She was raised on a farm north of Linton. Adeline married Edward J. Weiand of Beulah on Nov 21, 1963. They have farmed south of Beulah since 1974. Edward and Adeline loved dancing, winning some competitions in their younger years, and enjoying the occasional polka dance outing in their later years.

She is survived by her husband Edward; their son James and his wife Katja; two grandchildren Jesse and Justin. Her brothers, Leo (Alicia), Matt (Pam), Chuck (Mary) Vetter; siblings-in-law, Jerome Weiand, Dale Weiand, and Sharon (Rob) Derwin and many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents.

Her family was blessed to have her and will miss her deeply.
