Alvin C. Scheid

Alvin C. Scheid, age 86, of Hazen, ND passed away on May 4, 2022 at Good Samaritan Society Sunset Drive, Mandan, ND.  Services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT, Friday, May 6, 2022, at Barbot Funeral Home, Chapel, Beulah, with Pastor Kirk Peters officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Hazen.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Barbot Funeral Home.  

Alvin was born April 1, 1936 in Hazen, North Dakota to Arthur F. and Hilda E. (Link) Scheid.  Alvin was a lifetime member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. He worked at numerous farms around the area. He also did yard services and odd jobs. Alvin enjoyed his family and his many friends and neighbors.  

Alvin is survived by one sister, Bernice Beick; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irene Scheid, Viola (Lloyd) Keidel, Lillian Scheid, and Delores (Eli) Bauer; brothers, Elmer Scheid, Clement (Rose) Scheid, Leo Scheid, Reuben (Berniece) Scheid, and brother-in-law, Arron Beick.
