Andrew “Andy” James Nesper, 62 years old of Mandan, ND (formerly of Beulah, ND) passed away on January 27, 2025 at Sanford Medical Center. He was surrounded by family and friends. He bravely fought cancer for 12 years. Services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM CST at Zion Lutheran Church in Beulah, ND with Pastor Kathleen Nygaard officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at a later date.

Andrew was born on December 18, 1962 at Hazen, ND to Dennis Nesper and Rose Marie Halter. He traveled half ways around the world to meet the love of his life, Sarah Aquino from the Philippines. Andrew was married to Sarah in 2006. They were married in the Philippines and she

came here to the United States to live with her husband. They have one and only daughter.

Andrew graduated from Hazen High School in 1981. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of Beulah for 41 years. Andrew loved to fix cars and anything that has an engine in it. He loved to travel with his family. His favorite place in the world is the Philippines. He loved technology, especially Apple products. Andrew was a loving husband and father. He will be greatly missed. He was a gentle “giant”.

He is survived by his wife Sarah, daughter Kathleen Liza and two sisters- Angeline and Mary of Bismarck.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson-Ashton James Bryan, grandparents and various aunts and uncles.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
