Angela Marie (Shepherd) Richardson

Angela M. Richardson, 45, of Beulah, ND, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 9, 2023.

The family will be receiving family and friends from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. CST on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Barbot Funeral Home, in Beulah in a celebration of Angie's life.

Angie was born in Bismarck, ND, on July 11, 1978 to Richard and Joyce (Kurle) Shepherd.  As a child, Angie moved around to various towns, finally settling back in Bismarck where she finished her school days, graduating from Bismarck High School in 1996. Unfortunately, before she graduated her father passed away. Angie never attended college, deciding to stay home and help her mother with her three brothers and one sister.

In the summer of 1998 Angie met her soulmate, the love of her life, Rick Richardson. They hit it off right away, seeming pretty much perfect for each other. After a few years of dating Rick was set to propose, but Angie heard about the plan so Rick changed the plan. The day after the planned proposal date, Rick brought Angie out on the deck (she was really mad at him yet), and he gave her a present and said I hope this makes you happy.  She said this isn't what I want. While she was opening the present, she looked up and saw Rick on one knee with an engagement ring, proposing to her. Angie's answer was "you bastard". She started crying and said YES! On August 4, 2001, Angie married the love of her life ,Rick. The couple had three beautiful, wonderful children, Kaytlin, Austin and Addyson. Angie loved watching her children grow, supporting them in all their activities, from choir, dance, baseball, softball, basketball, football, track, volleyball and hockey. Angie loved traveling around to hockey games in the winter time and going camping in the summers. She loved being around her family and friends, that gave her the greatest joy.

Angie is survived by husband, Rick Richardson of Beulah, ND; daughter, Kaytlin Richardson (Devonte Fleming) of Houghton, MI; son, Austin "Ozzy" Richardson (McKenna Belle) of Williston, ND; daughter, Addyson Richardson of Beulah, ND; father-in-law, Richard Richardson of Watford City, ND; mother, Joyce Reinbold of Bismarck, ND; three brothers, Ricky, Mike and Jacob all of Bismarck; sister, Becky (Josh) Richards of Bismarck; her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and many amazing friends!

Angie is preceded in death by her father, Richard Shepherd; grandparents, Lloyd and Louise Shepherd and Jake and Adeline Kurle; mother-in-law, Linda Richardson; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
