Arlene was the 11th child of Reinhold and Philipena (Pfeifer) Wiedrich. She grew up on the family farm north of Hazen and attended rural school with her siblings. Growing up, she would stay with her older sisters helping on their farms and taking care of her nieces and nephews. Arlene married the love of her life, Wilbert Donald Reichenberg, on September 14, 1956. Together they worked on family farms and various jobs. They lived in several towns around North Dakota until settling in Center to raise their four children.
Arlene was employed by several businesses in town over the years from bookkeeper, hardware store clerk, bank teller to owning the locally well-known Blind Pig Bar in Hannover. Her interests included cooking, crocheting, polka dancing and gardening. She devoted much of her time to caring for friends and family when there was a need.
She is survived by her four children, Mary Sheldon (Clifford) of Ray, ND, Vicki Mobus (Richard) of Denver, CO, Ricky Reicheberg (Lisa) of Center, ND and Peggy Anderson (Gary) of Bismarck, ND; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one on the way. She is also survived by one brother Clarence (Ardella) Wiedrich; one sister Bonita Miller; one sister-in-law, Helen Wiedrich; one brother-in-law, Hubert Sailer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Wilbert; her parents; five sisters and seven brothers.
