Ashton Crows Heart

Ashton Crows Heart, 23, of New Town, ND passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Trinity Health, Minot, ND. Services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Twin Buttes Wellness Center, Twin Buttes with Leroy Ortiz officiating. Burial will follow at Crows Heart Cemetery, Twin Buttes.

A wake will begin at 5:00 PM CST on Tuesday, November 5 at Twin Buttes Wellness Center with a procession leaving Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah at 3:00 PM CST.

Ashton Black Wolf Crows Heart, born October 8, 2001, in Hazen, North Dakota. He went to Twin Buttes Elementary School and Mandan Middle School where he graduated eighth grade. He moved to Parshall, North Dakota to live with his Grandpa Lester Crows Heart, his bestie. They later moved to New Town, North Dakota where he lived until he passed. 

Ashton always had the kindest heart no matter who he met or where he was. There was never a shortage on how much love he had to give. You could always find him tinkering, altering, or fixing up something. Whether it be cars, electronics, tattoos, or something he produced on his own. 

Ashton had many friends; you could always find him hanging out with someone.  It was exceedingly rare to find him alone. Ash had a passion for music, he was always listening to music 24-7 in his room with friends, or while cruising around. He was always the best kind, from country to rap to rock, he had music for everyone. It was never quiet when Ash was around. He was always the light in the room that would brighten anyone’s day.

In his free time, Ash liked to watch SpongeBob or Good Mythical Morning while eating his Sriracha Ramen Noodles or working/tinkering in his room while listening to music on YouTube. He was extremely ingenious and very well rounded in all trades from electrical to plumbing, he was a jack of all trades. His grandpa, Lester Crows Heart was his roommate from the time he graduated from eighth grade.

Ashton passed away on October 27, 2024, in Minot, North Dakota. Ashton is survived by his father, Johnathon Perry; his mother, Hope Crows Heart; stepdad, Thomas Black Hawk; sisters, Seymone Amber Rayne, Hazel, Brandi Crows Heart, Lilliana and Jade Marie Perry; brother, Maxxan Corey Black Hawk; Grandpa Lester and Bruce Crows Heart, Hope, Leili, Leslie, and Paul Crows Heart; paternal grandmother Cindy Perry, Alvina (Marcus) Leving.

Preceded in Death by Maternal Grandmother Sharon Crows Heart, Maternal Great Grandma Fern Dixey Perdash, Paternal Great Grandma Eleanor Marie Crows Heart, Paternal Great Grandfather Richard Crows Heart, Maternal Great Grandfather Clarence “Greek” Broncho Dixey,

 Paternal Great Grandfather Richard Crows Heart, cousins: Malachi Appel, Badger Little Owl, Rising Sun Irwin, Tyrell Frank Greek Lyons, uncles:  William Jacobs, Adrian Ross Little Owl, Grandpa’s Jimmy Crows Heart, Richard “Tiny” Crows Heart, Daryl Jacobs, Cisco Dixey, and Jimmy Dixey.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
