Bonnie Lou Clark

Bonnie Lou Clark, 71, of Hazen, ND was born in Hazen on September 28, 1951 and left us January 16, 2023. Private family services will be held.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harriet and Glenn Clark. The remaining

family members are her brother, Wayne and sister, Sharon; her son, Toby Weisz, his wife Jodi, and granddaughter Sydney and grandson Britton.

Bonnie shared her life with so many via her intelligence and humanitarianism. Her degrees over a 16-year period were as LVN, RN, Masters and Nurse practitioner, serving all ages and populations. Bonnie taught at U.N.D. Grand Forks, North Dakota. for 10 years in the departments of Nursing and Women's studies plus involvement in Native American studies. Teaching and healthcare were her passions and she put exceptional effort and care into providing the best outcomes for her students and patients. Bonnie was a storyteller, this was a major part of how she taught, whether student, patient or friend, all learned and thrived because of this. Special thanks to Wayne and Jody Gappert for sharing their home, compassion, time, and energy in caring for Bonnie while she was ill. Sharon for traveling across the country multiple times and spending time away from those close to her in Texas to support Bonnie. Bentley Kautzman for becoming her reading buddy. She appreciated your support more than you will ever know. She will be missed and remembered.
