Brandi Lee Selle

Brandi Lee Selle, 35, of Mesa, AZ passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at her home. Services will be held at 1:00 PM CST on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Barbot Funeral Chapel, Beulah with Pastor Kent Sperry officiating. Burial will follow at Werner Cemetery, rural Halliday. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM CST on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.

Brandi was born in Richardton, ND on April 13, 1984 to Lori Singer and Doyle Bell.  She was later adopted by Blair Selle and gained a big brother, Bryan James.  In 1989, a little sister, Brooke Jade, joined the family.  Brandi was raised and educated in Halliday, ND.  She was baptized and confirmed her faith in Halliday and again as an adult in Bismarck.  She was active in basketball, cheerleading, choir, band, and track, excelling as a state class runner and pole vaulter.  She graduated from Halliday High School in 2002. 

In 2006, Brandi welcomed her daughter, the light of her life, Sienna Jade.  She loved being a mom and Sienna is her pride and joy.  She enjoyed drawing, writing, and spending time outdoors with Sienna, especially at her family’s lake home. 

As an adult, Brandi struggled with addiction.  She fought this disease tirelessly, meeting and helping others along the way.  She found a special place and purpose in the NA community in Bismarck, ND and Mesa, AZ.  Brandi’s struggle with addiction led her to develop an amazing relationship with the Lord.  Her faith is what kept her fighting until the very end.

Grateful to have loved Brandi is her daughter, Sienna Jade; her parents, Lori Selle (Dan McIntyre), Blair Selle, and Doyle (Memory) Bell and family; her brother Bryan (Anna) Selle; her sister Brooke (Rhett) LeJeune; two nieces, Kaylyn Briann Selle and Rylie Jade LeJeune; her grandparents, Judy Boepple (Pat Kuntz), Larry (Pam) Boepple, Ardith Whitman and Burton  Bell, II; her very special friend, Collin Gose; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Brandi was especially close to her godfather and uncle, Kevin Singer, her aunt Dawn (Steven) Marquardt of Bismarck, ND and her uncle, Todd (Ashley) Boepple.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marion and Jessie Hovden, Hjalmer and Alma Selle, Burton Bell, III and Emerald Bell, Carl and Lillian Whitman, and her beloved cousins, Christie Frafford and Lucas Frafford.
