Calantha (Demaray) Kerzmann

Calantha Aleene (Demaray) Kerzmann (Awaa-Tee-Gashaa “Little Missouri”), 44, of Mandan, ND was called by the Creator on May 29, 2021. Services will be held at 1:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, June 3, 2021 at Twin Buttes Memorial Hall, Twin Buttes with Pastor Bob Smitt officiating. Burial will follow at the Twin Buttes Congregational Cemetery, Twin Buttes.

A wake service will begin at 7:00 PM CDT on Tuesday, June 2 at Twin Buttes Memorial Hall.

Calantha was born in Killeen, TX to Allan Tom Demaray, Sr. and Kathleen Sue Big Eagle. Calantha loved horses, bingo, sweats and sun dances. She also loved visiting family and friends, and loved her four-legged friend, Brownie.

Calantha had a loving heart and would go out of her way to help family and friends. She met the love of her life, Travis Kerzmann, and they were married on February 2, 2012. Calantha and Travis were raising six beautiful daughters, Ayla, Angalina, Sheila, Mystic, Nightstar and Shyannshai.

Calantha was preceded in death by her father, Allan Tom Demaray, Sr.

She is survived by her mother, Sue Big Eagle; her husband, Travis; her six beautiful daughters; her older sister, Tara (Gary, Sr.) Beston; her brother, Allan Demaray, Jr.; her sister, Twila Demaray; and her youngest brother, Devin Big Eagle; special friends, Sarah, Marie, Crystal and Tedilyn; and her many nieces and nephews, aunties and uncles.

Pallbearers: Aaron Abbey, Jr., Donavan Abbey, John Baker, Gary Beston, Sr., Gary Beston, Jr. and Dylan Costello.

A meal and give-away will be held at the Twin Buttes Memorial Hall following the burial.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
