Carol (Wright) Davis

Carol Wright Bishop Davis, 86, of Belgrade, Montana passed away Saturday, March 9, 2025 in Beulah, North Dakota. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Friday, March 21, 2025 at New Life Center in Beulah ND, with Pastor Ron Enget officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.  Burial will take place in Bozeman, Montana on June 5, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Carol was born on September 23, 1938, in Sandpoint, Idaho.  Her parents were Charles D. and Sylvia (Grimm) Wright. Carol was the first of five children. She committed her life to God and was active in the churches she attended, even with the limitations she lived with after having a stroke 13 years ago. She attended school in Belgrade, Montana. She married John R. Bishop on July 7, 1956. Carol and John raised two daughters, Roberta (Robby Lynn Playle) and Jacqueline (Jacque Poole). John and Carol were married 16 years when John died at the age of 42. Carol married Dale Davis and continued the life of ranching in Belgrade for the next 25 years. 

Eventually, Carol left Belgrade to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Robby Lynn and Jason Playle in Beulah, North Dakota.

Carol was active in the American Angus Association. Carol loved to spend time outside with her flowers and in the garden. She enjoyed knitting dish cloths and giving them away to whoever she met. She did any chore or task that was needed and did it with all she had. She enjoyed a good book and spending time with her family.

Carol is survived by her two daughters, Robby Lynn Playle (Jason) of Beulah, ND and Jacque Poole (Douglas) of Safety Harbor, FL; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sharon Shearman of Bozeman, MT, Charlotte Watts of Bismarck, ND, Gayle (Myles) Hustad of Kissimmee, FL and one brother, Chuck (Pearl) Wright of Douglas, WY and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, and other extended family members.
