Carolina Ann (Gerving) Gerving

Carolina Ann Gerving, 52, of Bismarck, ND passed away peacefully of natural causes at the family farm on April 5, 2020. Private family services will be held.

Carolina was born on November 29, 1967 to Henry and Betty (Fischer) Gerving at Bismarck. She was the third of five children. Carolina was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and graduated from New Salem High School in 1986. Carolina had numerous jobs caring for the elderly, working in a variety of retirement homes and care centers.

Carolina was a very caring and loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. Her most enjoyable times were spent with Hannah and Eric on the farm. She enjoyed being around children and helping them learn new things. Carolina was looking forward to being Cora’s Godmother.

 Carolina also enjoyed being with family and friends, whether it was rolling out fleishkueckla and cheese buttons or simply family get-togethers. Holidays were her favorite time of year so she could decorate and make sure her family enjoyed their time together. Carolina also enjoyed traveling. Her most memorable trip was taken with her sister, Betty and her friends Bridget and Frankie to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

She is survived by her siblings, Brian of Beulah, Henry (Lisa) of Beach, Ben of New Salem and Betty of Bismarck; her nieces and nephews, Bailey, Wesley, Jaxson, Brandon, Christopher, Matthew, Hannah and Eric; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Carolina was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Betty; her sister-in-law, Shelly; and her grandparents, Rueben and Alma Fischer and Ben and Carolina Gerving.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
