Casey Brim

Casey Arnold Brim, 56, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Covenant Health in Lubbock, TX.  Services will be held at 10:00, Friday, May 27, 2022, at the New Twin Buttes Community Center, Twin Buttes, ND.  A wake services will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday and the community Center.

Casey was born on January 27, 1966 in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Victor David Brim and Lilian (Spotted Bear) Brim.  Casey was a man of simple taste. He was happiest when cooking a delicious meal at home surrounded by the pets he cared for. He was a kind and loving person who never held back when it came to caring for others. He cared deeply not only for people but all living creatures of the earth without ever asking for anything in return. He was the kind of man who would give you the jacket off his back if he knew you were cold. The kind of man who would give a person his last dollar if he knew it would help improve their life, if only a little. During his life he found joy in technology, video games and family. When computers first came out, he was not only the first in the family to learn how to use one but the first to learn how to program one, making technology work for him. He always had the newest video games and would happily hand them over to the young ones in the family when he was finished with them. His family always looked forward to his Facebook posts about the feast he has prepared for himself that evening. If you were hungry, he would gladly share his meal so that you both could go to bed with a full and happy belly. He wasn’t the kind of person who would reach out and stay in touch with everybody but everybody knew that if they would reach out to him he would be there for you no questions asked. Casey was a good man who improved the lives of all those around him. The world was a better place with him around. We hope his memory will inspire others to do good in his name. May his spirit rest in peace.

Casey was preceded in death by his father Victor David Brim, his mother Lilian Spotted Bear Brim and his brother Dean David Brim. He is survived by his brother Albert Homer Brim and several nieces and Nephews.
