Corrine M. Quast, 95, of Golden Valley, died Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Missouri Slope, Bismarck. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CST, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Golgotha Lutheran Church, Golden Valley, ND, with Pastor Scott Pierson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Corrine was born on October 27, 1928, the daughter of John and Lilly (Reiner) Flemmer. She was raised and educated in Zap, ND. She taught at a rural school until she married Hubert Quast of Golden Valley in June of 1950. Corrine lived in Golden Valley until she moved to Bismarck in January of 2019.
Corrine did daycare in her home for many families in Golden Valley, loving each child as her own. She also helped Hubert with the custodian duties at the Golden Valley School. Corrine compiled and wrote news for the Beulah Beacon. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cards and board games with friends.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer (Don) Reed of Gillette, WY, Vicki (Kim) Wetzel of Bismarck, one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff (Shawna) Quast of Bismarck; seven grandchildren, Kayla (Jordan) Ebner, Jordan (Katy) Reed, Cole, Oran and Kara Wetzel, Sarah Winn and Ben Delzer; six great-grandchildren, Harper and Hayden Ebner, Aidan, Evelyn, Timmy and Alex Winn.
Corrine was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert; her parents and an infant sister; her parents-in-law and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
