Damian Kowalewski Dunkley passed away on January 4, 2026. Services will be held at 11:00 AM CT on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Beulah Branch, Beulah, ND. Burial will follow at Beulah City Cemetery, Beulah.

Damian was born on January 19, 1978 in Potsdam, New York, and was raised in Madrid, New York, where he received his high school diploma from Madrid Wadddington Central School at the age of 16.
Damian was sealed to Kodelle Gaylene Weeter in the Salt Lake Temple on May 6, 2000. During their marriage of 25 years, he was a devoted husband and a loving father to five girls. He moved his family from Hooper, Utah to Golden Valley, North Dakota to work as an operations manager for Bakken Diesel in 2015.
Damian was a car guy through and through owning over a 100 different vehicles over the course of his life with a wish list twice as long. He loved nothing more than working on older vehicles to get them running in top condition and adding performance upgrades. He loved road trip adventures, playing video games with his family (especially racing games), and running RC cars in the yard. He loved working with his hands, and often delighted his family with handmade furniture, and 3D-printed art, gadgets, and toys.
Damian had a big heart, a friendly smile, and great sense of humor. He loved nothing more than to laugh with and tease his girls. He was a good friend, always willing to listen and offer thoughtful counsel.
He is survived by his wife Kodelle and their children Katelyn, Isabella (Cody), Juliet, Tabitha and Annabeth, as well as five siblings D’brav, Bodawn, Dikayl, Rikayla and Defryn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and father-in-law.
Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
