Darnel Davis, 39, of Hazen, ND passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM CDT on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Hazen City Cementery, Hazen with Pastor Mark Martin officiating. Darnel Ray Davis was born in Geneva, New York September 13, 1980 to Darren Davis and Delree Kilber. When he was six weeks old, he moved to North Dakota where he lived with his grandma, grandpa, mom, and aunt. He had many “parents” who doted on him. In June 1988, he moved to Hazen with his mother and stepfather, Bob. He became very close with Bob, and they both shared the love of fixing cars. When Darnel was little, he enjoyed taking Hot Wheels cars apart. As he got older, he loved putting model cars together. He remodified them to create all different kinds of vehicles. As an adult, he enjoyed doing the same thing with real vehicles. He was an amazing mechanic. He could always find a way make his vehicles run. In February, his son, Caden was born. In September, his daughter, Madison was born. He is survived by his mother and father; his sisters, Brooke (Noah) Kupcho and Destrie (Joe) Overmoe, Shiable Davis, Samantha Hlebechuk; his brothers Robby Kilber, Colton Davis, Gerald Pinks, and Asher Davis; his children, Madison and Caden; and his grandmothers, Pearl Cahoon and Mable Wilkie. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Darhl and Step-dad, Bob Kilber. Arrangements conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
