Obituary

Darwin Cecil Eng, 71, of Coleharbor, ND, died Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Sanford Health, Bismarck, ND.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Center Community Cemetery, Center, ND. 

Darwin was born on September 30, 1951 in Bismarck, ND. To Sam and Delores (Stoering) Eng.  Dar graduated from Riverdale High School in 1970.  He retired from the 49ers union in 1994 due to bad health.  His most memorable moments were while living in the country and farming with his parents, Sam and Delores Eng.  He loved horseback riding, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling and country music.  Another proud moment in his life was receiving his auctioneering certificate in 1990.

He leaves behind his sister, Gail and Terry Littlefield, two nieces, Karlee VanDyke and Leah Sherwood; one nephew, Pat Morgan, as well as, three great-nieces, Morgan VanDyke, Abigail Sherwood and Taylor Sherwood; three great-nephews, Sam Morgan, Vincent VanDyke and Hendrix Morgan.  He also leaves behind his beloved cousins, friends and wonderful neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, John and Ethel Stoering; Mandi and Odin Eng; five uncles and five aunts; one cousin.

Arrangements conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
