Deanna (Burkhardsmeier) Wiedrich

Deanna Marie Wiedrich, 59, Hazen, died peacefully on November 12, 2020, at Sakakawea Medical Center, after a long battle with breast cancer.  Deanna never liked being the center of attention and per her wishes there will be no services. In lieu of memorials, donations can be made to the Bismarck Cancer Center.

Deanna was born in Pierre, SD, on June 1, 1961, the first of four children of Donna (Stewart) and Robert Burkhardsmeier. Deanna lived in numerous locations throughout her life. She finished high school in Hazen, graduating from Hazen High School in 1979. She met Cledus in high school after dating for a while; they married on April 27, 1979. Deanna had various jobs in Hazen and Beulah throughout her life, most recently Meals on Wheels, Hardware Hank, Mels, TSC and The Hub. Deanna became a grandmother in 2014 and again in 2016. She enjoyed spending time with both of her grandchildren and was an avid reader in her free time.

Deanna is survived by her husband, Cledus; one daughter and son-in-law, Cassandra and Lucas Pippenger, Bismarck, ND, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dustin and Hailey Wiedrich, and Cody Wiedrich, both of Hazen, ND; two grandkids, Kennedy Wiedrich,6, and Sebastian Pippenger, 4, parents, Marlo and Donna Grindberg, mother-in-law, Elaine Wiedrich, Hazen, ND, siblings Sherri (Jim) Block, Hazen, ND, Rob (Dorrie) Burkhardsmeier, Bismarck, ND, Tracy (Dave) Theil, Bismarck, ND as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert, and her father-in-law, Willis, maternal grandparents, Clair and Ella Stewart, paternal grandparents, Joe and Clara Burkhardsmeier and Theophil and Monica Wiedrich.
