Della (Wolff) Bauer

Della Bauer, 90, of Beulah, ND passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Sakakawea Medical Center, Hazen. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Beulah with Pastor Toby Heller officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM CDT at the North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery, Mandan, ND.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.

Della was born on April 24, 1929 in Golden Valley, ND to Henry and Amalia (Flemmer) Wolff. On February 27, 1949, she married the love of her life, Lester Bauer. The couple had an extremely happy life together and were blessed with three children, Connie, Brooks and Morris. Della and Lester owned and operated the Main Bar in Beulah for many years. Della operated the bar while Lester worked at Indian Head Mine.

Della lost Lester on November 30, 1997. Following his death, Della spent time visiting her daughter and son-in-law in Reno, NV and her son and daughter-in-law in 29 Palms, CA. She also traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada.

Della is survived by her daughter, Connie (Lester) Raszler of Reno, NV; her son, Morris (Chondra Kost) Bauer of Beulah; her daughter-in-law, Pat Bauer of Ryder, ND; seven grandchildren, Chad (Danielle) Raszler of Ackworth, GA, Krista Raszler of Santa Rosa, CA, Preston (Stephanie) Bauer of Hazen, ND, Paige (Cody) Richardson of New Mexico, Shawn Bauer of 29 Palms, CA, Jason (Angie) Bauer of Greeley, CO and Patrick (Vanessa) Bauer of Ryder, ND; one brother, Armon (Peggy) Wolff of Golden Valley, ND; one sister-in-law, Marion Wolff of Golden Valley; Lester’s brothers and sisters, Clyde (Anita) Bauer of Poplar, MT, Dennis (Sharon) Bauer of Beulah, Lora (Arnold) Wiedrich of Billings, MT and Linda Macdonald of Capitola, CA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Amalia Wolff; her husband, Lester; her son, Brooks; her brother, Paul Wolff; her sisters, Ruby Dallman, Cora Tschaekofske, Ramona Sailer and Viola Bertsch; her in-laws, Otto and Ella Bauer; Lester’s brothers and sisters, Lloyd Bauer, Robert Bauer, Marion Sandau, Loretta Baszler, Liela Caywood, Betty Hausauer, Stella Gramm and an infant brother.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
