He is preceded in death by his parents, Elhart and Mary. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Diane, daughter Deanna (Todd) Gray, grandson Tyler (Sarah) Gray, granddaughter Tessa Gray, great-grandchildren Zack and Margaret, siblings Jim (Doris), Doris (Lyle) Anderson, and Myron (Lynn), numerous nieces and nephews, friends, customers, and drinking buddies.
Don kept busy with many activities over the years; hunting, fishing, stock car racing, woodworking, buying and restoring old tractors - but his favorite was cutting grass. A trusted chauffeur on family trips, the birthday videographer, and a quiet comedian; Don kept his humor during his last days, “God needs more maids in Heaven so my room is ready sooner”. He will be greatly missed and we will always be comforted by his wonderful memory.
A heartfelt thank you to all his doctors, nurses, and caregivers for their dedication, care, and compassion.
