Donna W (Klein) Weigum

Donna Weigum, 70, of Zap, ND passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 on the family farm. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CT on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Beulah Congregational Church, Beulah, ND with Pastor John Fanella officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Beulah.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Donna was born on May 8, 1954 to Joseph and Ida (Wolfer) Klein. She was a 1973 graduate of Beulah High School. Donna married Clifford Weigum on June 29, 1974 and the couple had two children, John and Joseph. She worked for the Beulah Beacon for several years covering Beulah News and Zap News.

Donna was a wonderful woman who had a couple of family nicknames: Donuts and Mutlana (German spelling). She became the glue of the Klein family after her parents had passed - hosting family reunions since 1990 and pouring her heart into keeping that rowdy Klein family together.

Donna loved her family and PEPSI! She enjoyed making and selling crafts, baked goods and canned goods every year at the craft fairs in the area. She loved sunflowers and even had a sunflower Christmas tree last year. She loved to cook and bake. Her salads and bars were beyond amazing and were always sampled in advance of the family reunions.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Weigum of Lake Havasu City, AZ; her grandchildren, Kayla Weigum and fiancé, Ethan of Bismarck ND and Abby and Luke Lemer of Beulah; her brothers, Larry (Bonnie) Klein, Green River, WY; Kenny (Michele) Klein, Beulah, ND; Al (Vicki) Klein, Beulah, ND and her sisters Debbie (Kent) Sanborn, Friendsville, TN; Lois Smith, Columbia Falls, MT; MaryAnn Kjorstad, Williston, ND and Sallie Fryda, Menomonee Falls, WI; plus a host of nieces, nephews and some very special friends, Linda and Rodney Weigum and Arlene and Gerald Scheurer.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Ida Klein; her son, John Weigum; her husband, Clifford Weigum; her sisters, Linda Klein, Judy Ohlhauser, Frances Forderer, and Angie Zimmerman and her brothers, Roger Klein and Wesley Klein.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
