Doran N. Wolf, 72, of Beulah, ND passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Sakakawea Medical Center, Hazen. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CST on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah with Pastor Dennis Ristvedt officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Barbot Funeral Home.
Doran was born on October 17, 1951 in Hazen, ND to Albert and Elsie (Miller) Wolf. He was raised and educated in Beulah, graduating in 1969. He married Timphanet Loge in Minneapolis, MN. Together the couple had one daughter, Venetia. Later, he met and married Rhona Melk and they had two children, Rhianon and Joseph. Doran moved to Los Angeles, CA for a time before moving back to Beulah. Doran drove truck over the road and worked various construction jobs for a time. He worked for the Knife River Care Center for over 26 years, retiring in 2018.
Doran loved playing guitar and was a member of the band, Undercover, for which he played the bass. One of his greatest enjoyments in life was jamming with his friends. He could be seen riding his Cam-Am all over North Dakota. He loved vacationing with his siblings and spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren.
Doran is survived by his children, Venetia (Mike Rosado) Wolf of Jacksonville, FL, Rhianon Korbyn of Mandan, ND and Joseph Wolf of Beulah; four grandchildren, Ian Wolf-Pray, Aidyn Wolf, Zoe Murphy and Harley Rosado; one sister, Judy Krohn of Longmont, CO; one brother, Dr. Dennis Wolf of Dickinson, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Ernest Urness; and one nephew, Ward Krohn.
Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
