Edward Adam Langeliers, 87, Bismarck, formerly of Pollock, S.D. went to his heavenly home on November 6, 2021 in Bismarck, ND. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CST, Monday, November 15, 2021, at New Life Church, Bismarck with Pastor Marc Eidahl officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at the church.
Edward was born August 22, 1934 at the family farm in Emmons County North Dakota. He was the first and only son of Lawrence and Katie (Quenzer) Langeliers. He was raised on the family farm and served in the United States Army for two years in Korea. Edward married Ann Cullen on October 4, 1960. They lived in Pollock, and he drove the Texaco Bulk Truck for ten years before moving to the family farm in 1970. Ed and Ann lived on the farm until they retired to Linton in 2009 and then moved to Bismarck in 2015.
Edward loved hunting and fishing, playing cards, and visiting with anyone he met. He delighted in being in touch with those he loved and talked daily on the phone to his sister, Sis. His life was marked by a deep faith in and love for his savior, Jesus.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann, one son, Ed Jr, (Jean) Beulah; two daughters, Lori Strom (Todd), Dickinson, and Wendy Maly (Kevin), Forman; grandchildren, Maggie Payne (Matthew), Jon Langeliers (Kate), Majalisa Sarkar (Sourav), Levi Nelson, Brenna Strom, Jonas Strom, Katie Feist (Sammi Meyer), Matthew Feist (Lexi), Jesse Feist (Molly Lee), Lauren Feist (Dustin Veith), Jeffrey Feist Jr, MacKenzie Maly, and Evan Maly; four great grandchildren, Adeline, Hudson, and Emmett Langeliers, and Isaac Payne; siblings Sis Sjomeling, Alice Slagh, Ruth (Kim) Stoecker, brother-in-law, Ole Johnson, and sister-in-law, Arlene Cullen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws, Loren and Vera Johnson; sister, Wilma Davis, step-sister, Velma “Teenie” Quenzer; son-in-law, Jeff Feist, brothers-in-law, Ron Cullen, Mike Cullen, Vernon Slagh, Dale Davis, Howard Sjomeling, and Carl Johnson, and nephew, Jaden Heil.
