Eldor Weidner

Eldor Weidner, 82, of Hazen, ND passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM CDT on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah, ND. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Eldor was born on October, 5, 1940 north of Beulah to Jacob and Linda Weidner. He grew up and attended school near Kronthal, ND and was baptized and confirmed at Kronthal Lutheran Church. Eldor married Doris Renner on December 23, 1961, and the couple had three daughters, Renae, Denise and Lisa.

Eldor liked to stay busy. He enjoyed farming, fixing anything and keeping up with his lake adventures.

He is survived by his daughters, Renae (Darin) Larson of Carver, MN, Denise (Bruce) Frank of Kennewick, WA and Lisa (Dale) Dauenhauer of Hazen, ND; Dale Giles of Hazen, ND; two grandchildren, Jarid and Cole Dauenhauer of Hazen; and one brother, Hilmer Weidner of Moses Lake, WA.

Eldor was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; an infant sister, Anne; and two brothers, Gilbert and Erhardt.
