On November 13, 2024, Elizabeth Mayo Beadle, 67, finally heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Although Beth devoted her entire life to the goal of receiving that message, her loss is completely unexpected, and her family is profoundly saddened. Services will be held at 1:00 PM CST on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Watford City Assembly of God, Watford City, ND with Pastor John Brady officiating. Burial will take place at later date at Beulah City Cemetery, Beulah, ND.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Beth was born on March 2, 1957, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Ronny and Janice Mayo. She was the eldest of five children and took much pride in being the best big sister to her siblings. Beth graduated from Our Lady of the Lake Nursing School in 1977. She found tremendous success in her lengthy career in nursing, not only excelling in the technical aspect, but also patient care, or the “hope factor,” as she called it. Beth went on to marry the love of her life, Charlie Beadle, in 1979. They welcomed their son, Brandon, in February of 1980. Through sickness and health, sunshine and shade, Beth and Charlie’s love for Brandon, each other, and Jesus was always their guiding light. In 1983, Beth, Charlie, and Brandon moved to Beulah, North Dakota, where they made their home and raised their son for over 40 years. Beth was a gifted pianist and served as the Worship Pastor of New Life Assembly of God for over 30 years, where along with her incredible team of musicians and singers, produced two worship albums and impacted countless lives. Despite all of her accomplishments, if you were to ask Beth what she was most proud of, she would likely say it was her grandchildren: Hunter, DJ, Kensey, Khya, and Baby Beadle, due in January of 2025. In 2022, to be closer to her family, Beth moved from Beulah to Watford City. In her time there, she made numerous friends and rekindled her love for worship by serving on the Worship Team at Watford City Assembly of God.
Beth is survived by her son, Brandon (Kelsie) Beadle of Watford City, ND, her mother, Janice Gill of Beulah, ND, sisters Sarrah (Keith) Knapps of Walker, LA, Derrah Dillard (Terry Collins) of Ridgeland, MS, Apple (Danny) O’Quinn, of Beulah, ND, brother, Jonathon (Sabrena) Mayo of Beulah, ND, grandchildren Hunter, DJ, Kensey, and Khya Beadle, of Watford City, ND, and her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Beth was preceded in death by her beloved father, Ronny Mayo, and adoring husband, Charlie Beadle.
The family would like to thank the medical staff who cared for Beth, as well as every person who has offered support during this difficult time. We are overwhelmed by gratitude.
