Esther A (Froeschle) Koehler

Esther Koehler, 97, of Beulah, ND passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at her home. Services will be held at 1:00 PM CDT on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah with Pastor Kathi Nygaard officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Esther was born on January 19, 1927 to John and Henrietta (Reidlinger) Froeschle. She was raised and educated north of Beulah. On April 17, 1960, Esther married Tobias Koehler in Beulah, where she has since lived.

Esther was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Beulah. She loved to garden and would can all the pickles she could get ahold of. Esther loved to do crossword puzzles and word find books.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Michelle Koehler and two grandchildren, Megan and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tobias; her parents; two brothers, Albert and Ludwig; and five sisters, Clara, Ella, Lorene, Viola and Rebekah.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
