Freda Rose Linder

Freda Rose Linder, 37, of Minot, ND passed away Monday, February 16, 2026. Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Barbot Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Finley officiating. Burial will follow at Twin Buttes Congregational Cemetery, Twin Buttes, ND.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Freda was born on May 20, 1988 to Amanda Nomee Linder and Frederick Blackwolf, Sr. She was the middle child of three siblings. As an infant, Freda was given the name Oxaadi Iraaxi Mia or “White Spirit Woman”. In her younger years, she lived in Dickinson, Bismarck, New Town and White Shield. She attended middle school in Dickinson and high school in Bismarck. Later in life, she resided in Minot, where she met her companion, Travis Kulstad.

Freda’s life’s joy and accomplishment was bringing her three beautiful children into this world, Kaylani, Kaydence and Kayden. She was a free spirit who loved to roam the world. Freda loved to make surprise visits to family in North Dakota and Montana. She loved to make people laugh and lift everyone’s spirits.

Freda was special to all who knew her. She will always be remembered wearing that beautiful smile and will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Kaylani, Kaydence and Kayden; one special nephew, Michael “Mikey” Linder; two special nieces, Spirit and Montana Linder; seven siblings, Christian Nomee, Krystal Linder, Gwendolyn Lenoir, Anthony Hopkins, Sandra Blackwolf, Frederick Blackwolf, Jr. and Reuban Blackwolf. We are sorry if we forgot or missed anyone. It was not our intentions during this sorrowful time.

Freda was preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Nomee Linder; one special brother, Dylan Nomee; her maternal grandmother, Loretta Lois Linder; her maternal great-grandparents, Cora Hunts Along and Oscar Whiteman; her father, Frederick Blackwolf, Sr.; her paternal grandparents, James and Sarah (Roundstone) Blackwolf; and her siblings, Corey Blackwolf, Jeanette Blackwolf and Leandra Potts.
