James Fandrich

James “Jimmy” Fandrich, 82, of Hazen, ND passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Sanford Health, Bismarck, ND. Services will be held at 11:00 AM CT on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah, ND with Pastor Walt Wolff officiating. Burial will follow at Hazen City Cemetery, Hazen.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

James was born on December 1, 1943 in Hazen to Albert and Othelia (Machau) Fandrich. Over the years, James worked for Jim Ritter and also at John Deere Implement for JD Mosbrucker, as well as Hazen City.

He is survived by two brothers, Theodore and Douglas Fandrich; one sister-in-law, Lucille Fandrich; one brother-in-law, Lester Heier; two Godchildren, Jerry Sullivan and John Sullivan; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Roy and Samuel; and his sisters, June, Ruth, Esther, Luella and Maxine.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
