Janet Capron

Janet Ann Capron, 68, of Springfield, IL, was called home on January 20, 2020 at Knife River Care Center in Beulah ND after a courageous battle with cancer. Private family services will be held.

Janet was born on November 20, 1951 in Canton, IL to Lyle and Rosie (Johnson) Capron.  Janet grew up in Farmington where she graduated from Farmington High School in 1969.

Janet made a career in the insurance industry, retiring in 2012.

She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and St. Louis Blues fan, rarely missing a game.  Her favorite pastime was playing cards with friends.  Through the years, Janet’s dog companions were the loves of her life, Trixie, Shadow and Luna.

Janet is survived by one sister, Luanne (Archie) Rosenow of Hazen, ND; one sister-in-law, Karen Capron of Raymore, MO; and one nephew, three nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steve.
