Jeanette Kilber, 84, passed away November 14, 2021 at the Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer, ND. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CST, Friday November 19, 2021 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Hazen, ND, with Fr Joseph Evinger officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM CST at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan.
Jeanette was born in Oliver County, ND on March 31, 1937, one of 5 children to Joseph and Monica (Pfhiger) Lang. She was raised and educated in Hazen, ND. On July 17, 1959 she was united in marriage to Nestor Kilber in Hazen, ND, and together had two children.
Jeanette worked at various jobs including the Hazen Hospital working in the administrative office, Stanton Public School working at the cafeteria but mainly the job she loved the most was a stay-at-home wife, mom and grandma.
Jeanette loved bowling, gardening, and yes casinos as well as camping with family and friends. Into the retirement years taking vacations with her love of her life Nestor and spending time with her grandchildren Kelsey and Lexie.
Jeanette is survived by daughter, Connie Albrecht, son, Steve (Cori), grandchildren Kelsey and Lexie, sister In-Law Darlene Kilber and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Nestor, three brothers; Alfred (Rosalie), Lester (Shirley), Johnnie, and one sister, Rose (Clem) Weigum.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Hazen, ND or an organization of your choice.
