Obituary

Jonny Rae (Baird) Victor, was called home peacefully to be with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ in the early hours of Thursday February 9th, 2023 at 8:34am after heart complications.

Jonny was a sincere, kind, and loving person with a beautiful smile and warm personality. She treasured her husband and family and cherished every moment she spent with them. She especially enjoyed her role as Grandma and taking care of her dogs. In her work career, Jonny was very dedicated and hardworking with a deep commitment to achieving excellence in every task.

Jonny was born to Ralph and Olive Baird of Wibaux, Montana where she joined her siblings; Charles, Wayne, Bonnie and Roberta, with whom she shared a very special bond with. She attended Wibaux High School (class of 1974) where she participated in numerous activities, including playing the flute in the high school band and was elected homecoming queen. While growing up, she developed a personal faith in God that provided her a great source of strength that would remain with her throughout her life.

Jonny welcomed her son, Jeremy, prior to settling in Hazen, ND in the early 1980's. She worked in various food service-related positions before working in the bakery at Krause's Super Value for a number of years. While working within the bakery, Jonny was able to utilize her special creative talent by decorating cakes, which she thoroughly enjoyed,

While in Hazen, she met the love of her life, Charlie Victor and they were married in 1998. They later moved to Fargo, ND in 2000 where she worked at Hornbacher's fulfilling a variety of roles including customer service manager and bakery manager until the day of her retirement in 2020.

After retirement she filled her days taking care of her dogs, plants and flowers, and coming up with creative ways to decorate her house. She also enjoyed traveling overseas and experiencing the beautiful wonders of the world with her husband Charlie. Jonny and Charlie's leisure time included camping, fishing and spending time in the sun on the pontoon, which Jonny absolutely loved. They enjoyed taking many trips on the motorcycle.

Jonny is survived by her husband, Charlie Victor. Her children: Jeremy Wierzbicki, Sayward (Brian) Sorge, Tyrel (Holly) Victor, Cameron (Mary) Victor. Her grandchildren: Tremaine, Wyatt, Timothy, Ella, Chase, Mattaya, Tucker and Irene.
