Josephine (Olson) Aho

Josephine Maria Aho, 44, of Beulah, ND passed away peacefully on November 2, 2020 at the Sanford Health, Bismarck, ND. Private family services will be held.

Josie was born in Watertown, SD on December 19, 1975 to Steven and Wanda (Isaacson) Olson. She married Peter Brian Aho on December 27, 1992 in Wolf Lake, Minnesota. They were blessed with six beautiful children, Shiana Rose, Sophia Ann, Sven Peter, Houghton Joel, Victoria Lea and Olivia Rae.

Josie loved music and was a member of the choir at The Apostolic Lutheran Church in Kingston, Minnesota. She was so gifted. She was an amazing cook, artisan baker, and decorator. She was also an amazing mother and wife. She took pride in her children and her ability to make everything she did amazing. She spread God’s love every day with her incredible smile, soft touch, and loving laugh. Her home was always filled with warmth and love.

Josie joined her father and grandparents in Heaven. She is survived by her mother, Wanda; her siblings Steven, David, Jonathon, Serena and Thomas; her husband, Peter; her children and her grandson, Aiden.

Josephine’s heart truly made her one of a kind. Her spark for life brightened so many people’s lives. She will be missed immensely.
