Judy Jane (Keller) Erker

Judy Jane Erker, 75, of Beulah, ND passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Private family services will be held. A reception will be held at 12:00 PM CST on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Zap City Hall, Zap, ND.

Judy was born on November 11, 1945 to Albert and Linda (Weidner) Keller in Hazen, ND. She was raised on the family farm north of Dodge with her brothers and sisters, Alberta (Klein), Linda “Tootsie” (Walsh), Larry, Ralph, David, Rachel (Horning) and Bill.

Judy married Charles Erker on October 16, 1963 and the couple had eight children, Charlene (White) Judy Lynn, Joseph, Charles, William, Brian, Darrell and Sarah (Sargent). Charles and Judy farmed and milked cows along with the help of their children. Judy was the glue that kept the family farm running. Her children always came first and foremost. Charles and Judy were married for 25 years.

Every person and child that came to know her, loved her and called her mom and grandma. Judy had a very special place in her heart for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There are not enough words to describe her, but if you knew her, you truly knew an angel.

Judy is survived by her children, Charlene, Judy, Joseph, Charles, William, Darrell and Sarah; her siblings, Rachel and Bill; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Linda; her husband, Charles; her son, Brian; and her siblings, Alberta, Linda, Larry, David and Ralph.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
