It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth E. Senske Jr., of Beulah, ND, announce that he went home to the Lord on October 3, 2022, at the age of 65.
Ken was born August 1, 1957 to Kenneth Sr. and Bonita Senske in Minneapolis, MN. The family moved to Barnes, WI in 1959 where Ken was raised. He graduated from Drummond High School in 1975 and later attended Wisconsin Indian Head Technical College in Superior, WI.
On September 22, 1979, Ken married the love of his life, Kim Follis. They moved to Beulah, ND in 1984 where they raised their children, Sean, Steven, Amanda, and Lucas.
Ken worked as a millwright for U.S. Steel in Virginia, Minn. from 1977-1984. After that, he began work as a mechanic at Antelope Valley Station where he worked for 34 years. He took pride in his work and made many lifelong friends there. Ken was an active member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1593 and served as president of the executive board.
Ken’s greatest joys were his family and the outdoors. He passed on his love of the outdoors to his children and grandchildren. He spent countless hours fishing on Lake Sakakawea, duck hunting on Lake Audubon, and making memories deer hunting at “The Cabin” in Wisconsin. Ken also proudly served as an elder of Concordia Lutheran Church.
Ken was proceeded in death by his mother, Bonita, father-in-law, Buck, and grandparents.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Kim; his children, Sean (Mandy) Senske, Steve (Sadye) Senske, Amanda (Ryan) Holder, and Lucas (Trista) Senske; his grandchildren, Owen, Whitten, Gretchen, Hollis, River, Lorelei, Remi, Baker, and Bridger; his father, Kenneth Senske, Sr.; his siblings, Jeffery (Lynnette) Senske, Tim (Stacey) Senske, and Susan Houston; and his mother-in-law, Shirley Follis.
Family and friends are invited to join in Ken’s memorial service at 10:00 AM CDT on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Beulah with Pastor Toby Heller officiating.
Visitation will be held at Barbot Funeral Home on Friday, October 7 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
