Kevin Kady, 67, of Beulah passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 due to a boating accident after spending a beautiful afternoon doing one of his favorite things at one of his favorite places, fishing at Lake Sakakawea with his vizsla pup, Sis. The walleye found in his well is proof that he had at least a little fisherman’s luck that day.
An avid outdoorsman, Kevin loved to spend time hunting and fishing and loved to do so with his children and grandchildren. Generous with his time and skill set, he loved to share his knowledge and passion with those he loved. He will be remembered most by those he loved for his devotion to his family.
He also had a passion for the mining industry, where he spent 35 years working across North Dakota, Wyoming and Florida doing a job that he loved.
Kevin was survived by his wife, Kim; his mother, Lois; his son, John (Felicia) and daughters, Janalle (Shawn) and Sarah (Nick); his eight grandchildren, Mason, Nova, Avery, Wesley, Will, Jamison, Norah and Alera; one brother, Kenny; four sisters, Kathy (Wes), Rita (Stephen), Dawn and Teresa (Roy); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ken.
A gathering to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM CDT in the fellowship hall at Zion Lutheran Church, Beulah.
In lieu of flowers, Kevin's family asks that you consider donating to the Tyler Schaeffer Memorial Fund via GoFundMe.
