Laura Gutsche

The family of Laura Gutsche is sad to say that Laura passed on December 24, 2022. She was blessed with 100 years 7 months and 23 days.

Laura a long-time resident of Hazen, was born on May 1, 1922 in a farmhouse six miles northeast of Krem, North Dakota.

Laura married Reuben Gutsche, the farm they lived on was 12 miles north of Hazen.  They  celebrated 72 years together prior to Reuben’s death in 2015.  She had two sons who preceded her in death, David Gutsche, and Craig Gutsche.

Laura leaves behind her son Dwight and Brenda Gutsche, Fort Collins; Sister Marvel Perry of California; four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday April 30, 2023 at 1:30 PM CDT at the “English Lutheran Church” in Hazen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.

Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
