Leslie L. Miller, 90, of Hazen, ND passed away April 24, 2026 at Sakakwea Medical Center, Hazen, ND surrounded by his loving family. Services will be held on Saturay May 2, 2026 at 10 AM CST at Immanuel Baptist Church, Beulah, ND with Pastor Jeremy Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Hazen City Cemetery in Hazen, ND. Vistation will be held Friday, May 1 from 5-7 PM CST at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah, ND.
Les was born in Hazen on August 29, 1935, the last of seven children of Rudolph and Mary (Reinhardt) Miller. After his parents passing at a young age, his brother and Sister-in-law Harold and Ruth Miller raised him on the farm. Les married his loving wife Cynthia Reierson in December 9, 1966. Their daughter Marcia Miller was born May 22, 1968 along with their granddaughter Brittany Ann Miller on May 24, 1995. Les lost his wife Cynthia on December 26, 2002. Brittany married Johnny Gallegos in 2017 and they had Les’s only great-grandchild, Anayah in 2024. She loved to call Les ‘Papa’.
Les remarried December 3, 2005 to Jerine (Weisz)-Hoffart. This union added four step children, Terry Hoffart (Heather), Ricky Hoffart (Kelly), Mitchel Hoffart (Karen), and Jacie Wollner (Gregg), along with five step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
Les first began his working career at O’leary Stako Construction Company. From there he worked for Oliver Mercer Electric for 34 years. He enjoyed antique car restoration and deer hunting. He was a faithful Gideon member and did mission trips to Mexico, Brazil, and Honduras. He was also a member of Prairie Rose Car Club.
Les is survived by his wife Jerine, Daughter Marcia, Granddaughter Brittany Gallegos (Johnny), great-granddaughter Anayah, and one sister Alice Bates.
He preceded in death by his wife Cynthia, his parents, his three brothers; Harold, Eldor, and Walter, and two sisters; Hertha and Erma.
Les was a kind and gentle man who loved the Lord and his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Well done good and faithful servant.
