Linda M. Rueb

Linda Mae Rueb, 75, of Beulah passed away on March 16, 2024, at the Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierre Vista, AZ.  Funeral services will be held at a later date with her immediate family members.

Linda was born August 7, 1948, in Hazen, ND.  She was the daughter of Ed and Regina (Retzer) Schaper. She was raised in Halliday, ND and later Beulah, ND.  She graduated high school in the spring of 1966.  On June 11,1966 Linda married James H. Rueb at Zion Lutheran Church in Beulah, ND where they raised their family until James’s death in 2008. She resided in Buelah until 2021.  Linda was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, crafting, scrapbooking, doing puzzles, and spending time with her grandkids and cats.

After retirement, Linda met Jim Marty, their connection was immediate and they spent these last years together. They turned their love for traveling into their life adventure. The last two and a half years they had made their home in Arizona together, enjoying the company of their friends and their beloved dog, Tex, and cats, Tippy and Susie.

Linda is survived by her children, James (Voni) Rueb of Beulah, Rhonda Baker of Forest Lake, MN, and Robert (Kim) Rueb of Beulah, ND; six grandchildren; Keary (Kasey) Berger of Richardton, ND, Jenna Rueb of Minot, ND, Heather Baker of Fargo, ND, Cody Baker of Fargo, ND, Kaitlynn Rueb of Beulah, ND, and Korey Rueb of Beulah, ND; two great-grandchildren, Oaklee Berger, and Wylee Berger; and her brother, Ed Schaper of Zap.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents; and her son-in-law Shawn Baker.
