Lynne Wolf, 63, of Beulah, ND passed away peacefully at her home on November 23, 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. There will be a celebration of Lynne’s life in the summer of 2026.
Lynne was born March 6, 1962 in Yuba City, CA to Lowell and Patricia (Doyle) Albert. A traveler from the very start, Lynne lived in Oroville, Ca, Stamford, NY, Midland, MI, Bloomsberg, PA, and as she often joked her parents dropped her off in Beulah, ND. It was in Beulah that she met the love of her life, David Wolf. Lynne and Davey were married August 31, 1979. Together they had two children, Nicholas and Elizabeth and later four grandchildren who completed their family.
Lynne had many jobs through the years, but one of them that made her most proud was working at current day DGC and, with the help of others, founded the DGC Rec Club. Lynne was a dynamic force in her community volunteering on many committees to improve life in Beulah and definitely make it more fun! As any of her many friends would tell you, Lynne had a way of bringing everyone together, whether it be playing pinochle, hosting an epic get-together in her backyard, working out at the Wellness Center, being in a book club, going to movies or traveling (especially if included going to see some live music). Lynne lived for concerts and it was easier for her to tell you which ones she didn’t like than the ones she did.
Lynne had a way of making friends wherever she went and she did a great job of keeping in contact with them, even if it was just a quick hello as she travelled through town. Her friend bench was long and she had some of the very best gal pals and Keary M. Her friends went on adventures all over with her and often included the outdoors, trying new sports, and overall laughing and having the greatest time. They also had the best themed Halloween costumes in Mercer County for many years.
Lynne’s brother says that from a very young age Lynne had no problem going toe to toe with people and earned herself the nickname of Miss Prim by her grandfather around three years old. She was a very proud Democrat and championed for those with struggles.
Lynne is survived by her son, Nicholas (Heather) Wolf; her grandchildren, John, Rylan, Ava, and Liz’s daughter, Posie; her brothers, Steve and Bobby and their families; the extended Wolf family; and more friends than we could ever begin to name. Lynne was greeted in heaven by her husband, Dave,; daughter, Liz; sister, Kathy; and her parents.
Lynne would want you to remember her as someone who loved and enjoyed life. She would encourage others to get out and meet people. Dance to music, especially Sweet Caroline. She would want you to give Posie an extra squeeze when you see her as Posie held a very special place in Lynne’s heart. And Lynne would never skip dessert.
Arrangements conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
