Maurice Faut, 62, of Beulah, ND, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Prairie View Church of God, Beulah with Pastor Justin Countryman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
He was born September 25, 1958 in Mercer County to Marvee and the late Marvin Faut. He attended school in Golden Valley and graduated from Golden Valley High School. He later went to Wahpeton for two years and graduated as a diesel tech. After graduating he moved to Nevada and worked at the gold mines.
He was married to Penni Gullickson and from this union two girls born, Nikki Lee and Kayla Jo. Maurice and Penni were later divorced. While working in Nevada he met and married the love of his life, Charlotte Parker. There he gained another daughter Amanda Parker (Ferguson).
Maurice enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing pool while living in Nevada. He also liked to get in his pickup and go for a drive. Woodworking was a hobby he grew to enjoy after moving back to North Dakota.
Maurice is survived by his mother, Marvee (Bauer) Faut; his brother Merl (Rita); his sister, Melinda (Albert) Mersch; his daughters, Nikki (Kris) Larson, Kayla Faut and his step daughter Amanda (Tadd) Ferguson; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin and his brother, Mark.
Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
